I enjoyed this book until towards the end. The I just got flipping angry at the manipulation and lies the heroine had been put through. I, myself, would have liked her to at least give a few people massive headaches - like a three day blinding, vomituous migraine- after the crisis was over. I was blinded and vomituous by that part of the plot and it ruin the enjoyment of the book for me. However, I am willing to admit I was premenstual at the time and have PMDD - anger is a bit of a default mode at those times. But the whole story line depends on secrets kept from, lies told to, or manipulation done on our heroine. Now it's all perfectly logical and necessary for the plot development, so I can understand that "they" did it. But by the final few scenes, I needed a little payback and didn't get it. It was like sucking on a chocolate covered candy only to find the inside is licorice. Great if you like licorice, but otherwise leaves a bad taste in the mouth.Product details

The plot and story line was very creative. I enjoyed reading this book. The only limitation I found was that it was a bit short in length.
A new insightful author has waded to the top of romantic scifi that has scenes begging you to hold on to your seats, waiting for the next big crisis to fall. Jewels is a telepath who is struggling to find her own identity, one which she would never have suspected. As a new feline/human race emerges as friends, Jewels will find herself wrapped up in saving her planet from possible destruction as another alien race plans to wipe out human and feline alike.
It is a fast read and complex in character treatment. This has all the possibilites of growing into an interesting series. Great first for new author.
The story is good, getting used to the idea of a giant size telepathic cat was a stretch but otherwise entertaining.

Here is a great example of a wonderful Sci-Fi story that engages the reader and keeps their interest. A great mix of Aliens and humanity's struggle to exist. Read it, you'll like it!
An affordable book, and a fun read. I enjoyed the combination of science fiction with a paranormal twist. Several characters were introduced that could have a story all to them selves, while continuing this storyline. I would like to see another story that continues with this cast.
This was a amazing book. One that you can't jugde by the cover. It has the action which I love and it has a great story line. I read this book in a couple of hours and was disappointed that I have to wait to read the next book. This is a true page turner, and I was very entertained by it.The author pulls you into the world of earth that is set in 2101. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
